About me
In Person-centred therapy, the therapeutic relationship is key for the therapy to be effective. I like to say, and you probably have heard this before: “finding a good therapist is like finding the right shoe that fits right and feels comfortable”.
This is why I offer a 15-minute free-of-charge telephone or video call, for us to see if we can work together.
My name is Greta and I am a Person-centred qualified counsellor and BACP registered member.
I am originally from Argentina (South America), lived in Spain, and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years.
I offer online and phone therapy within the UK, both in English and Spanish.
I also offer face-to-face sessions in Newquay, Cornwall.
Due to my personal lived experience and training, I can work with the following presenting issues:
Anxiety
Depression
Bereavement
Trauma
Fertility issues, ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages, early pregnancy loss
Hormonal imbalances, Endometriosis, PMD, PMS, Perimenopause, Menopause
Moving countries, immigration
Working in a Person-centred way means that you, as the client, are the expert in your issues/experiences, and we will work at your own pace.
I offer a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental, confidential and safe space for you to explore what you would need or like to work on.
I offer Psycho education if requested by you and you feel it is what you need at the time.
I am progressing onto the Level 6 BA Degree in Counselling, which will give me more tools and techniques of other modalities that can be introduced in the sessions if suitable and agreed by you.
I would love to hear your story of your own lived experiences. I am interested in knowing how it feels for you.
I look forward to meeting you and seeing if we can work together.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in line with their ethical guidelines, so you can feel confident you’ll be treated with respect, honesty, and care. If you ever have concerns, the BACP provides a clear process for raising them. I also commit to ongoing training, regular supervision, and reflective practice to ensure my work remains effective, ethical, and rooted in best practice.
